BEAR HUNTING IN ALASKA!
Lodge Open to Hunters
in May, June, and September!
Alaska Wildlife game Bioligists have determined that Prince of Wales Island has a black bear population of over 20,000. It is estimated the total people population of Prince of Wales Island is approximately 5,000 during the summer and about 1,800 during the winter months. In the spring the bears rummage for food along the inlets and shoreline, in the fall they walk the streams and rivers hunting for migrating salmon. Hunt in our rarely disturbed conifer and spruce forest. Experience hunting at it's best and enjoy the spectacular sights of Alaska with us at Sea Otter Lodge.
